Living In The Moment?? Say What?!

I intentionally put a question mark after the title because I know there are many of you out there or your loved ones that find it difficult to “live in the Moment” or “Be Present”.

On a daily basis, I need to make certain that my medications for chronic back pain and anxiety are leveled which is sometimes hard to do because your hormonal/chemical balance is a bit off.  No day is exactly the same. However,  I always manage to find peace and joy.

Everyday, I focus on getting to the point of being present so that I can live in the moment thus taking any necessary actions to bring my joy and fulfillment for the day.

It’s a battle when you have chronic back pain with the anxiety that comes from it.  No medicine is exact so you learn how to balance them to find your joy each day.

I always manage to workout and diversify my workouts according to my popular fitness handbook.  It truly is a blessing!😁💪💃

So friends, if you sometimes see a post that says “live in the moment” or “be present”, don’t get upset.  Understand that they are simply phrases to get you thinking of what it is that you have to do in order to accomplish that scenario.

Some people don’t have painful ailments so it’s easy for them to just spew out phrases that they know nothing about the struggle to live in the moment and be present.  It’s the people such as myself and any of you or others that deal with the battle daily or thereof.

Do what it takes irrespective of what others may think of you, it’s your life and you need to find your joy of fulfillment.  Otherwise, there’s no purpose in living.

Want to empower yourself or a loved one from books of a woman that’s been through hell and back more than she can count?  A woman that knows what it’s like to struggle for balance each day and yet still find peace and joy in it?  A woman that has successfully coached thousands of people including,  but not limited to athletes,  doctors,  nurses,  lawyers,  teachers, CEOs to name a few.  The empowerment books are in link below.

Thanks for another thoughtful post. I find it hard sometimes to stay in the moment or be present as I don’t use pain meds to control my back pain. What I was told to do was to walk daily. I walk up to 5 to 6 miles each day to keep my pain in check. There are days however this doesn’t work very well and I become a shut in basically. But I am now in my new digs in warmer climate with all day everyday to do what I want when I want to do it. So when I need a break from sitting at my desk I just go for a walk. But I think I understand what you’re saying. Just grab the day and give it all you got when you can?

    • Rj, one has to go steps further if we are not finding fulfillment especially due to emotional and or physical pain.

If you’re walking helps, that’s great. You determine how much peace and joy you want. No one else does.

I have arthritis in my facet joints and a bulging disc, some degenerative disc disease as they call it.

All you need is to stretch and walk which is probably from sitting down.

Perhaps I don’t really understand exactly what you mean. I am new to self empowerment and what everything means and how to attain one’s higher authentic self. I am open to trying and learning though. I think maybe I should take a bit of time to try and look at a deeper level. It will take a while to gather the information you have on your site and process it as I have very limited and spotty internet access right now. Thanks for the feedback.

After a 12 pack and a good nights sleep I awoke to what you saying as though God placed it in my Brain. That said, I need to take sometime to fully absorb everything that I have learned recently and to reflect on the things in my mind that need to be sorted out. I don’t know how long this will take. It’s clear to me there is much more going on in my life than I can absorb so quickly and I am afraid it may lead to consequences that I haven’t until now given much thought which is wrong on my part. Another one of God’s lessons I guess. Anyway thanks for all that your doing.
