  1. Great word! We don’t have to go get peace. We are peace. Because that peace comes from within.

    • Everything is within but the stability of the mind and body must be met in order to have peace.

Ex. If you’re in pain, you have to take your meds to bring peace to the scenario. Without peace, there is no real clarity in making decisions. 😁✌ Certainly many other examples.

      • Great example. I want to expand upon the reliance on medications to treat zany form of pain. Don’t rely on medication to provide peace or balance. Medication’s sole job is to mask the pain without treating the source of its cause. It also takes from the body much more than it ever gives. Meds for life and/or death situations are necessary, but they come with a severe consequence to the body, mind, and spirit. Meds for emotional control or peace of mind never work in the long run. Emotions are a subject that must be taught, not medicated. Thank you for the article.

      • I agree to an extent. However, if you read my author page http://www.amazon.com/author/emmaorteganegrete, you’ll find that I suffer from chronic back pain and the anxiety that comes from it.

Where there is no surgery, etc. the only alternative is medication if holistic measures have not worked. I’m in my 13year of suffering. I honestly get tired of doctors that don’t have a clue how debilitating chronic pain is. We fight for our fucking lives.
